I’m so glad you are here, learning about the Youth Collective and our Solutionary work!
I created the Youth Collective because I love helping young people discover what they care about, find their voice, and create work that feels meaningful.
I have taught in public and nonprofit schools for 15 years. I have had the privilege of teaching students in grades 2 through 6, and I’ve served as a Gifted Coordinator. I especially love the middle school years as a powerful time of growth, curiosity, awakening, and possibility.
My teaching life has been shaped by a love of nature, meaningful projects, compassionate learning, and real-world work that helps young people discover how much they are loved and how they can meaningfully contribute.
Alongside students, I have helped build school gardens, paint murals, volunteer with local nonprofits, and spend unforgettable time learning in nature.
I hold a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction, AVID Certification, and a Green School Bali Educator Certification. I am also completing the Solutionary Micro-Credential through the Institute for Humane Education.
I am deeply inspired by the Institute for Humane Education and its framework for helping students build the skills, knowledge, and dispositions needed to feel a sense of agency, inspiration, and hope as they work on problems that matter to our children and our community.
I love collaborating with educators, nonprofits, and community organizations that are working toward a more compassionate and sustainable future for people, animals, and the Earth.
