THE EIGHT-WEEK JOURNEY
One meaningful question can grow in many directions.
Students move from curiosity to contribution—gathering evidence, learning with others, designing possibilities, and creating something they can share.
The four phases give the group a clear path while leaving room for students’ interests, perspectives, and discoveries.

Notice what matters, build belonging, and choose a question the group genuinely wants to understand.
Investigate
Gather credible information, listen to multiple perspectives, and look beneath the surface at relationships and systems.
Innovate
Imagine possible responses, study what is already working, and design ideas that do the most good and the least harm.
Implement
Put a thoughtful idea into the world, strengthen it through reflection, and share the story of what was learned.
